O.R.G – Recap of our First Hundred Days

The first 100 days of the Orthodontic Resource Group have had a real positive impact on our industry. We are very pleased at how far we have come in such a short time because of the input and support from our Orthodontic community.

There is a ton of content on the site including 17 Educational Videos & 9 Articles on orthodontics.

We have a comprehensive “Appliances” section that has 60 appliances outlining their purpose & function along with the appliance fabrication components and detailed diagraming. We hope this section can be a reference tool for standardizing our industry for appliance identification, design and function.

The Calendar of Events component is a fantastic opportunity to learn something new from one of our sponsors or lab members. Compliance news and FDA regulation education is a good example of this.

A few months back we started with 8 members and 2 sponsors and currently have 75 orthodontic lab members and 11 sponsors ranging in size from 1 person labs to some of the largest labs in our industry.

We are excited about the interviews and product reviews we are currently working on, along with features like an Associated Healthcare Plan insurance benefit, HR assistance, job postings and the continued opportunity for our members to supply their very own content to be posted to the ORG site.
